Send Off Ceremony

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. What do workers gain from their toil? I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 NIV)

The journey of life is not an easy task to deal with. It comes with different folds every day. Sometimes rough, sometimes smooth. It takes the Grace and Favor of God for one to work till pension. The case has not been different with Mr. Samuel Yirenkyi Appiah (Outgoing DCD of Suaman Dadieso District Assembly). He has served the nation tirelessly and it is time for him to say goodbye to the Service as he attains 60 years as the constitution of Ghana deems it the age of retirement and it fulfills the adage in Akan “Bɛrima bɛyɛɛ bi na wambɛyɛ ninyinaa.” Meaning one cannot do all. A service well rendered is worth paying. The staff and other dignitaries of the District could not just say goodbye but also made merry with him on his special day to make it a memorable one.

CITATION

The Management and staff of Suaman District Assembly wish to express our profound gratitude to you for your time with us as District Coordinating Director. We say a big thank you and we pray that the Good Lord continue to Bless you and we wish you the very best in all your endeavors.
