Distribution of items to Disabled

As part of the Development of Social Welfare and Community Development mandate to ensure that funds allocated to PWDs in Suaman Districts are utilized effectively, the Disability Fund Management Committee (DFMC) in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Community disbursed items and cash to some selected PWDs in the District on Thursday, 10th March 2022 at the conference hall of Suaman District Assembly.

 

The disbursement was grouped into 5 categories as depicted in the table below

Suada Holds Second Quarter DPCU Meeting

Suaman District Assembly Holds Second Quarter DPCU Meeting

As part of the participatory process and discussion of other relevant issues that relate to DMTDP Preparation, a meeting was held by The DPCU on Wednesday 1st September, 2021 at the Conference Hall of the Suaman District Assembly,
to discuss the progress of the DMTDP preparation.

Mr. Richard Roy Amoah took members through a power point presentation. After which comments were received from various heads of departments and Units. The DPO urged Heads of department to bring in their inputs where necessary before the final draft. Finally, Mr. Roy Amoah Richard thanked all people who were able to come to the meeting.
