The Internal Audit Unit of the Suman District Assembly held its first Audit Committee meeting on Tuesday, 14th April 2026, at the office of the District Coordinating Director. The meeting was organized via Microsoft Teams, which enabled members who were at distant locations to participate effectively in the proceedings.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the following matters:

1. The 2025 Fourth Quarter Internal Audit Report
2. The 2025 Management Letter
3. The Revised Internal Audit Charter
4. Any other matters arising

The meeting provided a platform for members to review the Internal Audit Unit’s findings and recommendations, deliberate on management responses, and discuss measures aimed at strengthening internal controls and improving operational efficiency within the Assembly.
