On 13th December 2025, the Hon. District Chief Executive (DCE), Vasco Obour, together with the District Assembly, performed a sod-cutting ceremony to mark the commencement of awarded development projects in the District. The ceremony took place at Suiaboi, a suburb within the District. Present at the ceremony were the Hon. District Chief Executive (Vasco Obour), clergy, Nananom, NDC party executives, security personnel, staff of the District Assembly, and the general public.

The projects for which sod was cut included:

• Construction of one (1) 2-Unit Classroom Block at Dadieso

• Construction of one (1) CHPS Compound at Suiaboi

• Construction of one (1) 3-Unit Classroom Block at Taylorkrom

• Drilling and mechanisation of ten (10) boreholes

• Construction of one (1) 6-Unit Classroom Block at Karlo

• Construction of one (1) CHPS Compound at Suibo–Doctormu
