Confirmation of DCE Nominee

On Thursday, 10th April, the nominated District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Suaman Dadieso District, Hon. Obour Vasco, was officially confirmed through an electoral process conducted by the Electoral Commission.

The confirmation ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Regional Minister, Hon. Wilbert Petty Brentum, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel K. Fiebor, members of the traditional council (Nananom), the clergy, Assembly Members, staff of the District Assembly, representatives of the security services, and members of the general public.

All Assembly Members and government appointees were in attendance and participated in the voting process. The election concluded successfully, with a unanimous endorsement—100% of the votes cast in favour of confirming Hon. Obour Vasco as the District Chief Executive.

Following the successful vote, Hon. Obour Vasco was officially sworn into office by the Regional Minister, Hon. Wilbert Petty Brentum. After the swearing-in ceremony, he was driven through the Dadieso township in a symbolic procession, allowing citizens to join in celebrating his achievement and confirmation as District Chief Executive.
